“We would most definitely recommend Wild Scottish Weddings. We travelled up from Kent to marry in a small ceremony on a beach on the Isle of Bute. Sarah and Gary were so lovely and fantastic at arranging everything. They kindly scouted out the Island in advance to recommend a location, scenic route there and access route and were fantastic at organising all elements. They organised a perfect celebrant, photographer, florist and make up and hair ladies and were there on the day to transport us and ensure all went to plan. They provided a great picnic on the beach and even dropped us off, via a little ferry, to our dinner destination. Sarah was very flexible with timings as we had to consider the tide and weather and put us completely at ease over all the arrangements and Gary did an amazing job at getting an online connection working so far afield close relatives could watch as well as taking a fab video of the ceremony which is a great keep sake. Thank you both for organising an amazing day and being a simply lovely addition (with your beautiful dog, Luna) to our special little group, Emma & Charlie..”

“As Americans wanting to elope in Scotland, we knew we had our work cut out for us. Initially, we didn't think to get a wedding planner. We were trying to organize things ourselves and QUICKLY realized that the time differences and stress of it were draining the fun and magic from the experience. We stumbled upon Wild Scottish Weddings and that all changed.
We had a intial meeting with Sarah to discuss our ideas and brain storm and already the fun was back in the planning. Sarah gave us direction and support but she also brought kindness, patience, and excitement to the table. Sarah has a real gift for this, I think. It doesn't feel like it's just a job for her, she cares, and it really shows.
The process with Wild Scottish Weddings was so stream lined and professional I never felt I had to ask myself "what now?" because Sarah was already there with what was next. We selected the venue, moved on to dates, moved on to suppliers, arranged pick ups, found a lovely hair stylist willing to come out to Mar Lodge, arranged everything. I even sent an email to the incredible Hazelnut Pâtisserie in Braemar to try and arrange pick-up for our cake only to learn Wild Scottish Wedding's had already sorted it out! I was so impressed and so appreciative.
Sarah checked in with us consistently and ironed out any concerns and all details. On the actual day of, we can genuinely say we were stressed about nothing. Everything and more came together so seamlessly and beautifully. Anything we had forgotten, fizz, the confetti flowers, Wild Scottish Weddings had planned for. We were free to just enjoy our wedding, and I think that really speaks for itself.
All of this to say; I strongly recommend you consider Wild Scottish Weddings as your planners. You couldn't ask for more attentive, professional, and kind hearted souls to arrange your special day. We've never been to Scotland before, which made it difficult for us to plan a wedding without their help. Sarah helped us with every step of the way and truly listened to our personal wishes. We completely trusted her and were very relaxed before our wedding. Everything was simply perfect! The place, the picknick, the restaurant, the cottage: so romantic! “I rang Sarah and Garry in April asking if we could book with them to get married in September. Thankfully, they were available!
Sarah helped every step of the way - we had a website which went through what we needed to do and recommendations were sent for suppliers/options for the day. They helped with discussions re where we wanted to get married, helped collect things and just generally did all they could to make this as stress free as possible to organise!
On the day we also chose the option which meant we had their help with travel, setting up, serving and again, just generally being awesome.
We met up once to go through everything - we had phone calls as well as regular emails, which was really helpful and kept me right (as I had no idea what I was doing!!)
After the big day, they sent a lovely video through for us. Something we can treasure forever

“We had the most special day for our Wild Scottish Wedding this month. Sarah and Garry were so helpful right from the start. They sent a brochure and discussed ideas of where we could go and answered many other questions I had! We chose an area on the edge of Loch Garten which was absolutely stunning. We had the perfect day from start to finish. They both made us feel at ease and relaxed. Sarah was so organised and assisted with every little detail throughout the day from organising some nibbles to assisting me throughout which was so thoughtful. Garry’s recording of our ceremony was such a lovely touch and a fantastic memory of our day. There was also an unplanned moment when we came across a herd of reindeer in the hills and had our photographs taken with reindeer calves thanks to Sarah! Would highly recommend as we had the perfect day!”

“Living in the West Midlands but wanting to have a wedding in the Scottish Highlands initially sounded like it would be a nightmare, but not at all thanks to the amazing effort of Sarah and Garry here at Wild Scottish Weddings. Giving them our initial ideas they went to work giving us a list of everything to consider, sending us lovely locations along with information that only they could of known living locally. Our plans changed and tweaked several times but nothing was too much trouble and they proved invaluable on the big day with helping it run smoothly and adding lovely finishing touches. I couldn't recommend working with them enough and will genuinely miss dealing with them.”
